Glory Destiny Online, developed by Taiwan-based publisher X-Legend Entertainment, is a new 2.5D cartoon-style MMORPG which is set to be released later this year. Set in a mythological and fantastic keynote, Glory Destiny Online starts with a surprise and stormy attack lashed on Southern Continent by army from Northern Continent. So in order to defend their motherland and drive out invaders, heroes are gathering. There are five races in the south which are all humanoid creatures with genes and blood passed down from ancient holy animals including rabbit from country of forest, sable from country of sand, unicorn from country of mountain, fox from country of snow and lion from country of fire. Players will take up the roles of fighters, join one of the races and set off fighting away invading troops. In this game, players can experience the stunning process of transformation which is quite unique, unavailable in other games. Players can accumulate energy values in combat to a certain level that is high enough to summon the slumbering animal to awake and transform player-controlled characters accordingly and immediately. Once transformed into animals, avatars will possess stronger power and be able to deliver fatal hits. Apart from fighting against intruders, players will also receive in-game villagers’ quests for slaying monsters. It is notable that monsters in this game are designed super-cute, such as a creature resembling a wasp but with a tail of furry dandelion and a brown bear with a cactus crest.
